INTERNATIONAL CREDIT MOBILITY KA107 – ERASMUS + PARTNER COUNTRIES COOPERATION (NON EU)

(PLEASE NOTE: This program should not be mixed up with the “traditional ERASMUS+ student mobility within Europe).

International Credit Mobility is an activity under Key Action 1 (KA107). A Partner country (non-EU) Institution can send its students and/or staff to Universtiy of Rijeka and the other way around.

Please keep in mind that at the University of Rijeka each bilateral agreement is assigned to a specific field of study/ department (and not an entire faculty). Nominations outside the agreed field of study are not possible.

ERASMUS+ INTERNATIONAL CREDIT MOBILITY STUDENTS (KA107):

ERASMUS+ International Mobility Students who come from our Partner universities from outside of Europe.
Students should contact their home university to be nominated at the University of Rijeka.

Once You were nominated to the University of Rijeka you will be contacted by our Erasmus Mobility Office for further arrangements.

With present Welcome Letter we would like to offer you some more information about academic calendar, courses, admission, residence permit, health insurance, accommodation.

Students with special needs can request a “special needs” support to cover the extra costs involved.

The grants are funded by the European Union.

BEFORE ARRIVAL:

Regulating the Visa requirements – Diplomatic Missions and Consular Offices of Croatia

PLEASE NOTE: the processing of a visa application may take several weeks or even months; you are therefore advised to file your application at the earliest possible date.

Regulating Travel Insurance, Accomodation arrangements and submitting all required documents (you will receive detailed instructions from the Mobility Office).


UPON ARRIVAL:

Make OIB at local tax office (OIB form): take with you OIB form,  Your passport and copy of  Your passport

Open a giro bank account in person, for Croatian Kuna payment. Make sure you have your OIB number with you when you go to the bank. The financial support (if You are entitled to it) will be  payed to that account.


AFTER MOBILITY
 You are obligated to submitt:

–       Statement of host institution (confirmed by the Host Institution at UNIRI)

–       Transcript of records (from Host Institution at UNIRI)

–       Fill the EU participant report request that will be sent to Your e-mail
