Professor Marta Žuvić, Ph.D., Vice-Rector for Studies, Students and Quality Assurance, has been appointed to the Governing Council of the European University Association, for the area of learning and teaching. The term of office is two (2) years and begins on March 1st, 2020.
The European University Association (EUA) represents more than 800 universities and national rectors’ assemblies in 48 European countries. The EUA has a crucial role in influencing EU higher education, research, and innovation policies. Through continuous interaction with a number of other European and international organizations, the EUA ensures that the independent voice of European universities is heard.
The EUA organizes working groups and governing boards to guide its initiatives, for specific areas where high-level expertise is required. These include research and innovation policy, doctoral education, and learning and teaching.
